Who is doing this, and on whose money
This is the Claremore chapter of the Move Weight Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. It is independent of the City of Claremore, of Rogers County, and of the State of Oklahoma. It takes no money from any of them.
How we source claims
Every factual claim on this site links to a primary document or to a named outlet. Where a document exists, we publish the document rather than our description of it.
- We never invent a government phone number, address or docket number. Every contact datum is transcribed from an official published source and dated on the page. If we have not transcribed it yet, the page says so and links to the city's own directory instead of guessing.
- Every external link is fetched before it is published, and re-checked automatically every week. The result of that check is public on the automation page. Sources for this chapter were last verified 2026-07-26.
- We publish released records whole. No redaction of a public record the government has already released.
- We never allege a crime. We publish the document, the amount and the date, and let readers and prosecutors do their own jobs.
- A submitter's identity is never published — not in a page, not in a filename, not in file metadata.
- We link out to local news and never republish it.
What this chapter is not
It is not a newspaper, not a campaign, and not aligned with any candidate, party or slate. It does not endorse. Its output is records, an archive, and the plain fact of whether a public body answered a lawful request on time.
Funding
The Foundation is funded by individual donations. Records cost money — Oklahoma allows a body to charge for search and copying under § 24A.5(3), and a single large request can run into real numbers. Donations pay those invoices, the servers that hold the archive, and nothing else.
